Korea Magazine Association (KMA) was established on October 26, 1962, under the aim of passing down Korea’s national culture, achieving successful magazine journalism, leading the development of the local magazine community, and promoting dialogue and professional networking among its members.
Throughout its long journey, KMA has strived to improve the quality of magazine content while also promoting the rights and interests of magazine publishers and staff. Today, it is broadly recognized as a professional media association with over 500 member magazine companies and remains devoted to the promotion of the magazine industry through maintaining ongoing and close communication with government ministries such as the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
